For sponsors, this was transformative. Donors supporting charitable crews could follow the journey day by day. And the global audience experienced the race closer than ever before.

The start of the World’s Toughest Row 2025 has been pushed back due to wild Atlantic weather, but the delay brings its own rewards. Safer conditions, more time with loved ones and for me, the chance to speak to the incredible rowers taking on this year’s challenge.

Now I’m returning for a solo row, raising awareness for DKMS and honouring the journey that started it all.
